Matches tamariki aged 6–12 with caring adult mentors who meet with them once a week. These professionally-supported friendships provide stability, encouragement, and a trusted role model - someone in their corner as they grow, learn, and dream bigger.

Our Cambridge cause

Kids in Need Waikato

Supported since 2026.

Provides kids being raised by someone other than their parents with personalised care packs. Each pack is tailored to the child’s age, size, and interests, and is designed to make a difficult time a little bit easier.

How Bowls & BBQ came to be

Bowls & BBQ was conceptualised by David Remmerswaal, founder of Dimple Digital.

David was one of the first mentors with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Rotorua, and spent much of his twenties guiding a young rangatahi - an experience he describes as profoundly rewarding.

When he started his digital marketing agency in 2019, David wanted to create a way for his business to give back to children in need on a larger scale.

And so, Bowls & BBQ was born!
